Too late. This was probably our last chance. The election may well have been our last chance. And we blew it. Our elections have been fake from the start with the appearance of news media in the late 19th century. From the start, the owners of newspapers used their papers to lie. One of the pioneers of news lying was an American publisher called Kane. (There's an excellent movie about him and his lying. The movie is Citizen Kane.) Our newspapers, all of them, have always lied. Yes. Every damn one.The same is true of most radio and TV stations. So it was that it was impossible for Canadians to vote with any intelligence at all in the recent election. and, oh, we are going to pay one hell of a price for that. Worse - it is very likely that we are not going to reach 2200 at all. The same is true in the U.S. Maybe even worse there. Any money that should get to the people goes straight into the pockets of the super rich. That's why the super rich in Canada and the U.S. have piles of money while millions starve. The U.S. is especially bad in this. But Canadian billionaires are catching up. Think. How can a nation as big and powerful as the U.S.have so many people on the streets and soon to die? Our world is in for collapse to meet the greed of the super rich. We've really fallen back to the world of a thousand or so years ago. And while millions starve, the American super rich spend government money to create expensive jobs to murder millions of people all over the world. (The war on China is almost certainly the biggest war in history providing juicy contracts for American killers. And I'm quite sure Canada will join the greatest slaughter ever, mostly of quite innocent people. - the Canadian legion will lead the way.) And then we will go on to do even worse. I really don't think we are going to end this century. I think it - and we - will all be over long before that. Oh, and New Brunswick?
