The evil on our side

The  commentarys below begin with one I wrote a few days ago. I'm now going to repeat that last one I wrote (below). And then add to it.

So we'll first repeat what I said about Canada in Afghanistan, then add to it. 

Reports from politicians on Afghanistan are more than a little misleading. George  Bush is the man who as president started the war over twenty years ago. He says now the U.S. was there to build schools and hospitals.

 It wasn't.

Wars are commonly started by the rich and very greedy. And that's what happened to Afghanistan. The American super rich wanted that war because American billionaires wanted the potential billions to be made in the soils of parts of Afghanistan. That's why the U.S. wanted it - and it wanted Britain and Canada to open up and help the U.S. plunder Aghanistan.

In almost all wars, the purpose of war is to plunder. And that was the case in Afghanistan. Canadian soldiers spent some12 years murdering Afghans for American billionaires. And the experience of that was shattering. Many of those Canadians died to satisfy American billionaires. Many died in the course of it. Many died from the experience of killing. Many plunged into shattered lives out of the experience. They became incapable of normal behaviour. Instead, they hid in basements for years of terror. Many have to live lifetimes of fear, and have never recovered from their detachment, their fear. They're normal lives ended.

And the Canadian Legion only made things worse for them. The Legion, ever since 1947 or so, has happily thrown Canadian soldiers to death, to lifetime fears, to suicides.....There was no good reason for sending Canadians into that situation, no good reason to fight an American war. But we've been doing it ever since World War Two.

The Legion is notorious for it's brainless treatment of Canadians.

The U.S., since World War 2, has also been notable for it's massive and deliberate  killing of children, of babies....That's one reason Canadians were shattered by this killing - which they had to join in on as allies of the U.S.

Nor have our news media been of much help. Just recently, Afghans who had fought on the U.S. side and now trying to flee Kabul tried to run up as the last of American passenger aicrcraft were taking off. The U.S. army was there. And American soldiers opened fire on a thousand or more Afghans who tried to catch up to those last aircraft. Yes, they fired to kill the people who had been their allies.

Funny how that story never made our western news.

The next target of the U.S. (for which the U.S. will demand Canadian and British participation) is China. Again, it's not to bring peace and joy to the world.It's the murder and plunder for the benefit of American billionaires. The U.S. is bringing China to the horror and plunder that Britain imposed in the  150 years of British murder and plunder in China - and that the U.S. now wants to impose.

And this could very well be the end of Planet Earth. Think of how American politicians and Canadian Liberals and Conservatives are also destroying our planet.

We cannot allow those political parties to destroy us. But that is what we are doing

This isn't the end of today's blog. Tomorrow I'll perhaps get into a situation that has bothered me for years. I taught 3 years in elementary school and 3 more in high school.

Then I got a PhD and spent the rest of my working days as a professor.It was quite a shock. Most university professors have no idea how to teach.They have no training in it. School teachers are much better because teaching is something they learn in their early studies. But profs? No way. Instead they drench students in ego and ignorance.

Canadians seem to be switching their election votes to the Conservatives. Bad idea. The Conservatives and Liberals are the same party - and always have been. The Liberals are going to cater to big business -  especially oil and other big business? 

So are the Conservatives. That's the weakness of our politial system. And it's a weakness that has always been there.

Both Liberals and Conservatives exist to serve only the rich. That's always been the case. And that means that Canada, like the U.S., is NOT a democracy. And most countries are like that.

The very rich finance both the Liberals and the Conservatives. In return, those two parties obey their  masters. That's alway been the case. It's also true in the U.S. where governments happily throw millions into low wage jobs - and happily throw out the poor to live on the streets. (Canada, too.)

What the super rich want now is getting control over oil fields, among other things - and driving the poor into even greater poverty. In the U.S., the poor - and many of the middle class can't afford medical care.

That was true in Canada, too,  into the 1960s. All that stopped it in Canada was when the old CCF party got enough support to force our governments to make health care available to everyone.

The reality is that neither Liberals nor Conservatives give a damn about what Canadians need. They exist only to kiss Liberal and Conservative   bottoms.

And Canadians are a pretty thick lot. They'll still vote Conservative and Liberal.

At this point, I'll end this topic because I have one that I really have to get off my chest. It's the fundamental evil of our western society.

Oh, at this point, I have an unpleasant item.

In World War Two, the Japanese realized early that they couldn't beat the U.S. But the U.S. would not allow them to surrender.

The U.S. wanted the war to go on so the U.S. could try it's master weapon - the nuclear bomb. That wouldn't be ready until 1945.

Then, in 1945, it dropped it's bomb - twice.

That had nothing to do with ending the war. It wanted to see how effective the bomb would be in mass murders. (common sense should have told us this was the reason for a second bomb.)

So it was the U.S. murdered close to a million men, women, and children. It would later drop more bombs, mostly on Pacific Islands - which were inhabited. These were purely testing - on Pacific Islands that were quite innocent.  (I don't know how many innocent people were killed - but must of those islands were  heavily populated.) And , gee, that never made the news.

The most evil country in our world since 1945 has been the U.S.

But that never shows in our news media.

God, perhaps, has not noticed the evil that is America - and that we share with the Americans. And, certainly, our churches haven't noticed that evil at all.________________________________________________________________

Too Late?

 Beware.

The American oil industry has embarked on a huge advertising campaign to justify drilling for oil in the U.S. And it has full support from both Democrats and GOP.

This would, of course, would be profitable for American oil companies. But it would be murderous for millions of Americans - and Canadians who are already dying from oil.All the medical and scientific sources have warned us of what is happening.

Justin Trudeau's Liberals and Canada's Conservatives are on the cheering side of oil. Trudeau met with the oil murderers, and he has signed on with them approving (of all provinces) of a British Columbia facing oil pipelines that already are destroying human life across the province.

At this pace, it is quite possible our planet will never see the end of this year.

Oil is a product that murders us.

None of this is exaggeration. This afternoon, I tried to sit on my balcony. But the heat drove me back into my apartment. And, oh, we shall have much more of it next summer. 

Trudeau and Biden have committed us to a world that is destroying  us.Canada's conservatives and Liberals, and America's  GOP and it's Democrats are making it worse.

__________________________________________________________________The American army, navy and air force are far the world's most expensive military. It's also the world's least effective military. Make a list - For all it's   wealth and size, the U.S. has been the feeblest of warring nations since 1945. One of it's few triumphs was it's war against Catholic priests, nuns, and missionaries in Guatemala - who had no weapons. And that took some twenty years.

And Canadian and American news media, as usual, disgraced themselves by telling nothing about this 'war'.

The only people benefiting from the American military are the multi billionaires  who produce the weapons for it. So why is the U.S. so eager to take on China, a nation   of over 2 billion?  Is it because China is a threat to the U.S.?

No.

It is because China has grown rapidly in it's trade with the rest of the world. It will soon be the world's leading exporter even as the U.S. is in decline. And American business leaders cannot match that. (Yes, the Chinese do kill some people. But the U.S. kills a hell of a lot more.) 

And another but, the U.S. military has been a miserable performer since World War Two and it is no match for the Chinese in any conventional war. (This is the country whose  billionaires are trained to scamper to safety. Thus the lengthy American preparations for an unconventional war. It will have to rely on a massive use of Nuclear   bombs with each bomb dropping on hundreds of thousands of people. In total, it would probably be capable of killing a billion or more. And all to make American billionaires happy.

Of course, Russia would have to help China with it's nuclear arsenal - though with much of the Russian arsenal raining down on Europe.

Oh, some nuclear bombs could also reach the U.S. and Canada. But don't worry. American and Canadian billionaires would be sure to move to safer areas. None of the above is unlikely.

This war, like most wars, is designed to make our billionaires richer. Nothing else.

It's a war like Afghanistan - on a bigger scale. like Afghanistan, Canadians - as in Afghanistan -will be told to die for American billionaires and a few Canadian ones.

And, as in the Afghanistan war, ordinary Canadians and Americans are being kicked out onto the streets to die there.

(I should add that China is going through it's own hell of climate change There is every possibility that it will soon (and maybe now) be living through a dreadfully murderous period.)

Let's get real.

Canadian and American oil interests are a hell of a lot worse than the taliban.

The U.S. troops that have now left Afghanistan murdered way over a million.They murdered thousands and probably much more than that who were children. They have spent 20 years that stared me in the face ever since the start of war in Afghanistan.

And the Americans (and Canadians) had not the slightest interest in helping Afghans. They were there to plunder Afghanistan's resources.

In the course of that, we have not helped anybody.

We should have been supplying help to the people of Latin America, of Africa, of China. Instead, our armies have been murdering civilians, children. The oil barons of this world have been giving themselves monstrous profits - a system that is murdering much of Africa and Latin America for lack of food.

Meanwhile, the oil barons, have stolen much of our money rather than giving it to millions of Africans, Latin Americans and others who have NO food and no medecines - and who are going to dying in their millions for lack.

Where the hell are all the North American churches on this? They're as evil as our billionaires.

And the wealthy get all they need from western governments. The American government saves the rich from taxes in the U.S. (and to a lesser degree in Canada) to starving the poor and kicking them out into the streets. Indeed, more poor have died in the U.S. to please billionaires than were killed by the Taliban.

In North America, we give money by the bucketful while South Americans suffer and die.

And the billionaires have the full support of Canadian and American governments.

The billionaires get that support with the babbling nonsense of our privately owned newspapers, radio and TV.

The Taliban have murdered thousands? Canada and the U.S. have murdered millions.

Our half-wit prime minister Trudeau has guaranteed the rich of oil companies to spill all the oil they like. That's why people in BC are dying in flames. American oil companies have the right to murder Americans by allowing drilling for oil. Indeed, they now have the right to drill oil and to spill it and its poisons all over the nation.

In fact, the oil fields of the U.S. like those of B.C. poison our air to drop the poisons on us. Same as Canada.

The Liberals and Conservatives lead the way in killing us. In the U.S. GOP and  Democrats are the same. (You'd think these people (and us) would have the brains to realize they are killing themselves.)

The NDP is probably the only party of substance with a will to save us from ourselves.

Damn it. For the sake of your children, wake up. It's already too late for Nova Scotia - but that's going to sink soon anyway.

Most Canadians have always voted for the party - liberal or conservative - that would destroy them. Both parties are owned by big companies. They always have been.

Damn you. wake up.

Afghanistan

 This will probably be short. I had lots more. But us old folks can lose track of things. And our news media can lie to us. (And our Canadian Legion can lie to us.)

The Afghanistan war has not been well reported to Canadians. Our news media have told us next to nothing. We know that 149 Canadian soldiers were killed but, strangely, the Legion has never told us how many of our soldiers  have been traumatized.

The U.S. media have the figures for Americans - and the have published them. And the U.S. media have published about those with permanent mental damage  amounting to thousands.

159 Canadians were killed in Afghanistan. But a larger, much larger number were broken and traumatized with severe emotional damage. Thousands of those soldiers can never recover their sanity. Many live in the isolation of basements. There are uncounted suicides. Large numbers suffer from post traumatic stress disorder.

And the Legion is keeping us in ignorance - and is pretty much ignoring it's own members.

Well, the Canadian Legion is, I suppose. pretty much just a place to go and drink beer.

Now you can know. The Legion is the least caring institution for those we send to war. I've had no trouble getting information on American behaviour. But we've been told nothing about our soldiers.

Well, that ends here. We Canadians have a total of fifteen years in Afghanistan.

And the Legion damn well knows how many died and how many wounded forever.

Why did they die? I guess that was so Trudeau can build pipelines in BC, a province already in flames.  And they died so that American president Biden could dig up  poisonous food supplies for Americans. Oh, that is also creating disastrous water shortages in the U.S.

Oh, and we've been terribly busy in sending the homeless - including children and the elderly - to die on our sidewalks - just like Americans. Well, it's important to give big money to our super rich - you know, so they won't have to pay taxes.

Yep. And it's nice to see the catholic church saving money for murdering indigenous children in its schools.

And on a note that fits right in to what we have become, the American super rich have, since 1978, increased earnings by 1322 percent (probably more as I write this.) We're back by a thousand years.

They want us in poverty.

The final days

 American, British and Canadian news media have been disgusting on their coverage of the war in Afghanistan.

The rule seems to be that the Taliban and only the Taliban are murderous and cruel. I don't doubt that it is murderous and cruel. But it's sweethearts compared to the behaviour of 'our side'.

The  U.S. murder record shows the Taliban as sweethearts. Nobody knows how many Afghans were murdered by "our side". And, of those who were killed by us, the number of children murdered is well into many, many, many thousands. There were also 20 years of women tortured and murdered.

Remember, it was us who invaded Afghanistan - us - the U.S., Britain, and Canada.

And nobody asked them to invade. And it was the U.S. Britain and Canada who murdered so may Afghans that the answer may never be known. As well as murdering children (deliberately) they also murdered adults -- and  nobody will ever know the number except that it's somewhere in the millions.

As well, our Canadians kissed up to Americans by handing over children to them for - yes - for torture and, in the long range, for murder. And the Canadians knew damn well what they were doing.

But, somehow, none of this was ever mentioned in our press.

Canadians, always on the naive side, lined the streets in praise of the dead Canadians brought back to Canada.. Our news media should have told us, but never did, what had really happened.

Any thoughts on that from the Canadian Legion? Well, no. The legion has never been big on having thoughts.

Canada is a democracy? Like hell it is.

Oh, how long did Canadians murder and torture - and die? That was ten years.

Wake up, Canadians. You have stinking news media. And you have a legion that encouraged us to send soldiers to war and to death - and to American wars since Korea, Haiti and other countries. (For a change, let's send Trudeau - who is about to send us in a colossal and stupid adventure to poison ourselves, all of us. Yes, that's serious - and soon.)

Foreign courts, long ago, have ruled at the request of the super wealthy that countries have no right to prevent the rich from suing companies that interfere with projects own  by the wealthy. Therefore, Canada and the U.S. have no right to interfere with, say, drilling for oil or poisoning the earth with garbage.

Trudeau is on their side in both cases. (Another story that's not like to make the news.

Every night, 25,000 to 35,000 are homeless on any given night in Canada. Most  cities do nothing for them. Toronto, uninterested in helping them in any way, regularly moves them out of sight.

Canada is not a country I'm proud of.

The Catholic Church has not paid for the deaths of children as young as three in  indigenous schools. In fact, none of us have yet taken on the job of finding all the dead. I would expect it to rise into multi thousands. But we don't seem to care.

I guess it's been a long time since Roman Catholic churches have been Christian in any sense.

Indeed, Protestant have been pretty unChristian for many years now. (Hitler was a Christian as were most Germans of WW2.) I guess that's why Christians of all of the world did nothing to help the European Jews before, during, or after the war.

Burning fossil fuels and destroying natural carbon sinks is a major force in overheating our planet. Many changes are irreversible - such as global sea level and ice sheets. But nothing is being done.

  You have a  love for U.S. Democrats? Get real. They are the same as the GOP. both are agents of the very rich. Americans have nothing to look for in either of them. The same is true of Canada's Liberals and Conservatives. Both are servants of the rich. Expect nothing for either of them.

Much of the world. especially Africa, is not only starving, it is not getting any Covid Vaccine ---Nothing. They're going to die, just about all of them,  before the end of this century. Just a fraction of U.S. Pentagon spending would save most of them. But it needs the money for the biggest war spending in the world.

But don't worry. At the present rate of billionaire spending, very few of us will get to the end of the century anyway.

The End of Days

 

I've been following the reality of what is happening in Afghanistan. Our news media are liars. They are reporting ridiculous stories about  the American role in that country. That's not surprising. The truth would been twenty years of brutality, murder - especially of children - on a huge scale.

They accuse the Taliban of  being murderers, and they speak of twenty years of American help and food.

The reality is over twenty years of mass murder, especially of   women and children,   carried out by U.S, British and, Canadian. troops. (Yes, we had a large army there for ten years.) The murder of children was possibly the major target. It was a good morale destroyer.

Our western news media are liars. They always have been. They are, after all, the agents of our super rich. They always have been. In Afghanistan, Canadian  troops often captured children and handed them over to the U.S. From there, those children would be handed over to U.S. torturers to find out what they knew. From there, death was common.

Ask the Canadian Legion about it. Well, no. It lies, too. The leading people of the Legion must have known all this. But it's been lying to its members from the day it was founded. And the reporters for the Conservative and Liberal news media lied as they alway have.

Come on. Get real. The U.S. has spent 2 trillion dollars on the Afghanistan war. It wasn't spent on kissing little children.

Who benefitted most from the Afghanistan war?

That was Boeing, Raythion, Northrop  Grumman,Lockheed Martin. They were tipped off about an Afghanistan War before it  happened. They immediately invested in war industry stock. Stock was the important thing to them. A war would create huge profits in the U.S. stock market. And the stock market would provide huge benefits from war spending.

And so it did as their stock soared.

They really didn't care about the war. It was their chance for hugely inflated  profits. And those took off. For a bonus, four generals whose only interest was profits were placed on the board. In their view, the only point of the war was to get profits.

Since 1978, pay for senior officers of corporations have  risen by 1322 percent. in same period, workers have gone up only 18 percent as wealthy Americans made trillions of dollars.

Biden now will concentrate on dropping fossil fuel leases on public lands and waters. That fits in with Trudeau who plans  to run oil pipelines over BC - you know, the province that has terrible problems with this. Trudeau is doing this to attract U.S. companies to buy poisonous oil fields in BC. At that point he will sell, or maybe even give these deadly chemicals to American billionaires. And this is in a BC that is knee deep in dreadful wild fires already.

And it gets worse.

The American oil industry is suddenly re-establishing itself on American soil. It's running big ads on TV. The ads want more oil drilling   in the U.S. And they're going to get it. And oil is the greatest destroyer our world has. That oil is dreadfully destructive.It's poisonous at ground level, and worse as it rises.

And Trudeau will be helping his billionaire friends to smother him in it. The U.S. has even bigger fields  of oil to drill for, thus the huge ads for the development of the oil.

The result? It will kill us. Think about that on election day.

As matters stand, our soil is being destroyed by wild fires that will be bigger every year. These fires already destructive in the U.S. and western Canada - are and over much of the world. And they're ever worse all over the world.

I live in Ontario (Ottawa) where the beginnings of such agricultural destruction can already be seen. (In fact, we will get a sample of it this weekend as we drift into high temperatures - thirty three degrees this weekend.)

In short, the whole world is beginning to burn. Conventional agriculture will weaken and disappear. Wild animals are also disappearing. Much of the human world - as in Africa - has no chance of survival at all. Not only does it have a profound lack of foods, but we also don't give it a penny to live on. In fact, Africa like many other areas, gets nothing from the 'civilized' world at all. For example, it is already suffering lack of basic foods as the 'civilized' world ignores it.  In a recent case, Europe withdrew virtually all pandemic medicines from Africa, giving them to European countries. Africans are going to die in their millions. But who cares?

(By the way, there are enough bottles of anti pandemic medecines to meet the needs of the whole world - and are much, much cheaper than the Korean War. But those people of Africa and other regions are getting nothing at all.)

All of this is far more news than we get from our news media.

Oh, and billionaires? Some of them have been using their wealth to get aircraft that will take them to happier planets.

And the chances of the rest of us lasting until, say, 2090, on a planet we have destroyed?

Not good. Not good at all.

Trudeau is horribly destructive. President Biden is even worse. And the voters of Nova Scotia who just voted Conservative deserve the truth that they will be the first province to be driven into a flooding sea.

August 16 - Bloody Liars and Murderers

The following article is short.  It is my reaction to our disgusting reporting on the war. American news services and Canadian ones  reporting on Afghanistan are carrying messages that from the start the U.S. was in Afghanistan to help it.

Like hell it was.

That corner of Afghanistan had just defeated the Russians after 20 years of war. Us old folks remember these things. That's why George W. Bush, the least intelligent of American presidents, decided to invade. And there was no talk of going there to help those Afghanis who had just defeated the Russians. The U.S. gave no reason at all for it - though it probably hoped to move in on regions of Afghanistan that were rich in natural resources.

It may also  have had something to do with aquiring a springboard for an attack on Russia. It's really hard to say.

But it doesn't matter. The U.S. was not in Afghanistan to benefit anybody but itself. It fought an especially brutal war which included mass murder of Afghanistan children, a new method of warfare developed by the U.S. in Africa.

But today's American news doesn't mention that. Nor does Canadian news.

Canada did some killing there, too. And there was no reason for that. The Canadian Legion, which should have been protecting our military from wars that had nothing to do with us, cheered a Canadian government which should have known better. It was a 'kiss American killers war" that had nothing to do with Canada. 

(The Legion said our military was "fighting for Canada". I  have no idea what the hell that was supposed to mean. It's just brainless sloganeering. And most Canadians, alas, were too thoughtless to wonder what that meant.)

For seventy years and more much of the world has fought wars. That is not good for anybody. That is simply going to lead us into the biggest and bloodiest war this world has ever seen. And soon.

Oh, Canadians also fought in Afghanistan. from 2001 to 2012, some 20,000 Canadian soldiers fought. And they fought, like the Americans, to murder and to deliver captives for torture. Those captives included children as young as three. This killing of children was much liked by the Americans who also gratefully accepted the handing over of children (as young as three) who were sent off to American prisons for torture.

Yes. torture. That was quite common. Doesn't that make you proud to be a Canadian?  Perhaps the Canadian Legion should have a TV programme on Canadian gallantry.

And yes. The western coverage of the Afghanistan war is disgusting. The media coverage of what is going on there is disgusting.

And, dammit, the Canadian Legion should be protecting our soldiers, and not sending them out to fight American Nazi wars.

Bye , bye Miss American pie...

 Time to say goodbye to America.

And, despite the repeated moans from American TV news - and the lies - it truly is goodbye.

The U.S. decided to enter World War Two in late December and, no, it was not           because of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour.  The American wealthy wanted a war before that - and the Japanese knew they did.  In fact, that's why the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbour.

In 1941, U.S. capitalists saw British overwhelmed by the Germans. U.S. capitalists saw their golden chance. The British Empire in the far east was wide open.  For American capitalists, this was a golden opportunity. They could conquer China, India,  and other victims of the British Empire. In fact, they could also move into Africa and steal the very lucrative oil fields that were a major part of the British Empire.

Indeed, the U.S. could intervene and conquer the world. That, in fact, was the major wish of American capitalists - to conquer the world as the greatest empire in history.

But the Japanese were well aware of the ambitions of American capitalists. That's why they bombed Pearl Harbour. And the Japanese came close. But, in the end it was not the Americans that won the major prize. China, the great target of both sides, kicked out Chiang Kai-Shek, a corrupt leader much loved by the Americans because he was corrupt, fled to the south of China - to a small region called Taiwan. And China created the power to govern itself. It has had hard times on the way, but today's China is now a very modern and up to date China, something our news media never tell us.

Ever since 1949 and the Korean war, American capitalists have been at war to  conquer and plunder just as British capitalists before them have done. In those wars the Americans have been stunningly brutal - making it a regular point to murder women and children. Indeed, in at least one African country it has been a major function of the American military to starve children and babies to death. And it routinely bombs civilians - including women and children. It even has fleets of pilotless bombers that, for years now, has been bombing women and children in countries it has never been at war with. Funny how that never makes our news.

It was over twenty years ago that George W. Bush got the not very bright idea of attacking a part of Afghanistan. It would be easy. That part of Aghanistan had just  spent 20 years successfully fighting off Russia.

It would be easy. The U.S. military was the biggest and far the most expensive military in the world. (In fact, the U.S. had plunged into military spending back in 1950 or so. Conquering an exhausted and impoverished section of Afghanistan would be easy.)

The war also would feature aspects of the U.S. military. It would kill women and  children -yes- it would. Killing women and children was standard practice for American armies.

Alas! The Americans overlooked another feature of their armies. For all their size and weaponry, they have not been impressive in combat. (They should have learned that in Vietnam.)

(Canada sent troops to Afghanistan, too. The Canadian Legion cheered. I have no idea why. Afghanistan in no way had attacked Canada. The Canadian troops were soon returned to Canada, having given Canadians nothing to cheer for - But Canadians cheered anyway. I have no idea why.) British troops, for no good reason have been in Afghanistan for years. Why? Well, having lost all it's own empire, Britain has to kiss American asses. That must annoy some British since it was the U.S. that stole African oil fields from Britain.

Anyway, it's clear now that that the world's biggest and richest army cannot defeat one of the world's smallest and poorist militaries.

Does that mean the U.S. will  cut back on the collosal waste of money that is the American military? 

No.

The importance of the vast American military is that it provides huge profits for the pentagon and its spending. Super rich Americans just love that because it gives them huge profits. That's a major reason why millions of Americans are going homeless and starving, and why millions more are living on VERY small salaries.

Meanwhile, most Americans seem to have no idea of what a vicious mess their country is. Canadians should watch for the next American move.

The U.S. is in terrible trouble with it's environment. The climate damage in the U.S. now goes far beyond California. Indeed, it goes across most of the U.S. - and all the way across in the South. Florida is not likely to survive at all. (Just recently, millions of tons of dead fish littered the Florida coast signalling the damage.) Think, too, of the terrible damage to farm produce all over the U.S. The U.S. is facing a terribly damaging agricultural disaster. So what will it do to get through the winter?

It will demand that Canada become a part of the U.S.

And Justin Trudeau will join him. Just recently, as American oil companies demanded that Trudeau (a) supply them with oil pipelines in B.C. - and as B.C. was about the feel the oil disasters that would smother it in fire and smoke - rushed down to kiss their boots, to buy all their pipelines, to run them through a B.C, to fire them with their poison gasses that have been killing us for years.....and then to give all this back to American oil bosses ---at no charge.

And that is now Canadian policy.

I knew Pierre Trudeau back about the time when Justin was born. There is no similarity between father and son. Indeed, even Justin's wacky mother has more brains than her son.

Alas! Canadians in general (like most people all over the world) have shown no intelligence in their electoral choices. The Liberals and Conservatives are, usually, corrupt and brainless. And Canadians always elect them.

In the near future, those gas pipelines in B.C. are going to shoot their cargoes in the soil and the cars of BC. The fatal carbon they produce will fall into our soil - and us as we poison - ourselves.

Biden is strange. He is actually following the same course that Trump did in  supporting  the oil industry. Indeed, so is Canada's Trudeau. Both are putting up cash for the oil industry to build pipelines. Please. It is just days ago, after the IICP (a very competent body) warned that more oil would cause terrible spillage of carbon producing poison on all of us.

And Canada's minister of the environment promptly approved the use of this horror - on us!  We are actually going to pay for poisonous  carbons to be dropped on us.

No - not ARE going to - They've been doing that to us for a hundred years.  And more.

As you may already know, American multi-trillionaires have, in recent months, tucked away colossal wealth as millions of Americans live in tents or on the streets. And there they starve. The western world has recreated much of the poverty we once thought was going.

(I have strong feelings about that because I was born into the great depression of the dirty 30s. We (me and my friends) were trained from birth to stand back and strive for nothing - and to drop out of school long before finishing. Most of my friends dropped out around grades eight and nine. My best friend was a big kid who dropped out in grade 3  when he was 11. He would be killed in World War 2.

He joined the army (using an older brother's draft summons) while he was still under age. He had no idea what a war was until his first day of action when he jumped in terror as a machine gun cut him in half.

Later, I would go to a high school where I mixed with boys who grew up to be doctors and lawyers. But I was kicked out in grade 12.

No matter, like the kids I grew up with, nobody expected anything good for me. My father happily got me a job at one hell of a miserable factory where he had to work. 

I quit to get away from that hell. On a night years later as I walked down the stairs, I told him I was going to study for a PhD. He was furious and tried to throw me down the stairs.

Just as happens today, the district I grew up in trained us to be failures, and it did its best to make us failures. When I finished the PhD, my father never talked to me again.

So it is that president Biden lavishes tax free trillions on the super rich. But he lets the millions of homeless sleep on the streets.

A one-time tax on billionaires, by the way, just a brief one, could innoculate every adult on earth and still leave the trillionaires up in their economic clouds.

But there is not the slightest chance of that happening. On the contrary, the super rich are not giving a cent to the poor. And the poor countries - often made poor by the U.S. in Africa, Latin America and other countries? tough.

Oh, I notice our news media commonly refer to the Taliban in Afghanistan as terrorists.

But they never refer to the American/British and other armies in Afghanistan as terrorists.

Let's get real.

The biggest killers (terrorists) in Afghanistan have been the  American attackers. They have killed millions. And they're also killing in the millions in much of the middle east where there is a special emphasis on killing children, even babies. And of course, there are those remote drones bombing and killing children, parents in  countries where the U.S. is not at war at all.

But Americans and British and even Canadians are never called that. No. Western news media always show the other side as being terrorists. But we never are. That's because our commercial news media are liars and propagandists. And WE are, too.

Nazi Germany, too, was like that. In that, as in many other ways, we are the naziis of our time.

Then there's the story of Julian Assange. He's an Australian journalist with one, terrible fault. He tells the truth. Back about 2010 he founded an excellent journal dealing with world news. It was called wikkileaks. And it told the truth.

Big mistake. The American government doesn't like people who tell the truth.

Assange had to flee to a British government flat where, for years, he was confined. But the U.S. wanted him. So the next step for the British was to put him in solitary for years in a British prison where he visibly sank into profound depression. But the Americans wanted him. And there's no doubt they want him in a solitary confinement, almost certainly with torture.

American governments hate journalists who tell the truth. Pick any American (or Canadian) prison to see that. But the British said that was no reason to confine him or to deport him. 

So - the U.S. is trying again, this time almost certain to get Assange. Once they have  him, the result will certainly be solitary confinent, and, quite possibly,  torture, quite possibly complete breakdown, certainly an early death.

Canada and the U.S. have political parties owned by the super wealthy. Those parties are, in Canada, the Liberals and the Conservatives. In the U.S. they are the GOP and the Democrats. Forget your elections. Both Canada and the U.S. are NOT democracies. They are bought and paid for by those 4 parties. Those parties, not the politicians, are what pay for elections.

The only party in either country that does not run on money handed to it by billionaires is the NDP.

Alas! Canadians, like Americans, are slow to wake up to this. But even a depression kid like me could figure that out.

Bad, Bad News. Sorry.

The last couple of days have been overwhelming as I have been in a bit of bad shape and have lost track of events and have lost some startling information I had earlier discovered.

One was a picture worth noting. It was an area of B.C. crushed under miles of oil pipes. Some are in use; others just waiting. Oil companies will get them free of charge.  The man  who put them there? Well, the ultimate responsible one is prime minister Trudeau who rushed to throw billions of dollars of our tax money into the project - and free of charge.

And what will happen now? Some of those pipes will leak. But don't feel sorry for them. The damage comes when those pipes burst  their deadly cargoes in the air, sending poisonous gas down to us,  after sending carbon gasses to the clouds, and then back down to us.

We have been sickening and dying under these gasses for well over a hundred years. And we have a long trip yet to suffer under them.

Wow! I just found the original story about this!!!! The man who has insisted that Canada must complete the oil that is now being prepared to be piped and sold is ---Johnathan Wilkinson - and he is the federal  Minister of Climate Change for the Federal government. Yep. And he defended (sort of) his idiocy on the same day the the UN  warned the world of the dangers of any such development. And, more idiocy, Canada had bought that pipeline. Canada will be sending  that dangerous pipeline - probably to then sell it at a bargain price (if any price) to an oil company.

The other event,(and again, I lost the source of this) is American (and to a lesser degree Canadian) impoverishment of our own people. It started with the American super wealthy who shredded Americans -  probably starting well before this century - at extremely low incomes. The result of that is the scenes you see of American families living at very low incomes - and even more, by the millions - living on sidewalks or in fields.

Think of that. The U.S. is a nation that is the richest in the world. But millions of Americans live in sickness and hunger.

That's because the U.S. is a nation that condemns most of its people to low, low incomes.

At the same time, it allows lavish profits to it's tiny population of super rich. American incomes for most froze long ago. But the American rich live on salaries always high, and now the highest in the world. And, of course, the rich never reveal the extent of this. An average salary of the very rich is so high that it is counted in billions, often trillions.

Oh, since 1978 U.S. pay for executives in private companies is 1,322% increase every year. Percent of increase for other employees? 18%.

Ah, the Queen's second son, in his younger day, repeatedly assaulted a young girl. That's no surprise. Prince Andrew  was known for his sexual obsessions when he was a child and a  student at an Ontario private school. He's also well known for having a very low intelligence.

Really, it's time for Britain to get rid of the royalty which it maintains at monstrous cost and which gives nothing in return. ________________________________________________________________

Hitler was terrible? Yeah. But he could have taken lessons from the Christian world. American Christians have been murdering both Christians and non Christians for many years. One of the more spectacular cases was the use of  hired thugs (supplied by  President George H.W. Bush - father of president George W. Bush).

Those thugs were used to murder the Christians of the very Christian nation of Guatemala. For almost twenty years, the priests, monks, nuns, missionaries of Guatemala were murdered. One of the missionaries who was murdered was a Canadian. Some years later,  a Montreal doctor learned of the Canadian, and arranged for his body to be sent back to his home in New Brunswick for burial.

So it was done. But his church and graveyard were close to the chapel of the Irving family who have no objection to killing Christians. and they owned the province's news media. So the NB news media never mentioned it.   

In fact, Christians have been happily murdering each other almost from the start.  Hitler and the Nazis were all ardent Christians, even as they murdered millions of Christians in Europe. And, in fairness, we have to remember that throughout history, European Christians have been murdering each other at a busy pace - for close to two thousand years as they murdered millions to plunder and murder  at a tremendous pace the people of China, India, the Americas......  Killing is what Winston Churchill was all about. And George Washington.

Even Canada played the game, though shifting from serving it's British master to serving it's American one after 1945. That's why Canada sent troops and police to murder Haitians who wanted to be a democracy.That's why we sent troops to kiss up to our American friends in Afghanistan.

And the Canadian news media were ecstatic in reporting how brave our soldiers were in helping the U.S. murder people - men, women, and children - people who in no way threatened us.

The reality is, of course, that Christianity destroyed itself a long time ago. Ever hear of a preacher who was critical of our participation in mass murder? Of course not. And I have never heard of a preacher who reminded us that "Thou shalt not kill".

And that is why we, very likely, are approaching the end.

Oh-and climate change is giving us a great surprise in the Arctic. It seems the Arctic contains some 90 billion barrels of oil. And our federal minister  of climate change, along with the least impressive prime minister Canada has ever had, must be all excited.

We are at a crucial moment in Canadian history. Our future depends on the coming election. (And it would help if our Canadian churches would show some wisdom - and some sense of values.)

And if we settle for the Liberals or the Conservatives, we are dead meat.

.No more optimism

 Wonderful news. Canada is going to build a fleet of armed drones for "pin-point" bombing. Yeah. Whoopee.These sound very much like the American fleets of armed drones that have been murdering people outside war zones. And Americans have much applauded themselves for murdering civilians with armed drones.

The victims of such bombers have mostly been children and quite innocent civilians.

Trudeau agreed to this when he first came to power. So soon Canadians will be murdering children and civilians - and murdering them in grand style.

I'm so proud we have a prime minister like kiss-American-ass Trudeau.

B.C. wildfires are going to get worse - and probably get worse for years to come. Wildfires are now on the loose in Italy with 800 of them running loose. In Greece, they're at the steps of Athens. In our world there are thousands of them, coupled with floods as in Britain, Germany, and many others.

Will they become threats to eastern Canada? You can bet they will as Canada is one of the worst countries in taking action.  Indeed, Trudeau just recently was kissing the attractive (for him) rear ends of American oil companies who got him to agree to send pipelines across parts of Canada.

The oil companies are determined to continue bombing our world with highly destructive chemicals which are worsened by severe fires and flooding. Perhaps Brazil is the worst case with, probably, no hope of any recovery.

Why was a nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima?

Japan was beaten. It knew that. It wanted to surrender. But the U.S. nuclear bombs went ahead at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Nobody knows how many were killed by that bombing. Something like 200,000, mostly women and children, were killed. Even by war standards, the attacks were wildly excessive.

The U.S. wanted a mass murder (contrary to international law) to establish itself as the world's greatest power. This was the world statement that the U.S. had achieved it's dream of ruling the whole world. (We have, I hope, learned since that no country has a right to rule the world.

In a world of law and order, president Truman should have been hanged. Alas, the U.S. still has it's dream of a world ruled by the U.S. when, in fact, we are now probably watching the decline of the U.S.

I wrote this - off my usual track - we are so far off from any track at all. The U.S. is not the great power it claims to be. But countries like Canada follow it as if it were.  There is no great power, only great chaos.

As a prime minister, Trudeau is a disaster. And we are going to re-elect him. The Conservatives are pretty much bottom of the barrel.

I consider the NDP as a better choice. But I know the Canadian people are electoral fools. - always have been. That's why they're going to vote for the people who are very likely to destroy us.

August 8 O.K. I'm weird.

I planned to write my blog on Sunday night. But I, who never sleep from 7 to 12, was out cold from 7 to 12. That's what happens to us old folks. Sometimes I would just prefer to be shot.

I feel badly about this because I think the world now is in one hell of a crisis. And almost all of the wars make no sense at all. We are also in a terrible situation.

Incidently, Italy which  is not a big country like  Canada and the U.S. has 800 wildfires going. Huge numbers of tourists had to be evacuated.  Britain, once the lord of an empire, is going down the toilet.

The U.S. is so damaged that it's days are obviously numbered.

And American capitalists are close to insane. Watch for a U.S. attempt to absorb Canada. And watch Trudeau give Canada away. So would the Conservatives if they had the chance.

There is a federal election coming. Most Canadians, as always, will vote either Liberal or Conservative. Both of those parties have routinely sold us out. Both accept huge payments, especially those payments from the oil business. Alberta was particularly notorious in that respect. Most recently, the oil business paid heavily for the right to build a major oil pipeline across British Columbia ..... you know, where the oil industry created an environmental disaster.

The man  who leaped to approve on the deal was - Justin Trudeau. our Liberal Prime Minister. He rushed West to personally take credit for this. 

Trudeau was doing what Canadian premiers have done since confederation. He ignored all warnings, and licked boots. And so BC is a disaster area that is going to get worse.

Conservative premiers have always done the same.

The situation is going to get worse. There are deaths now, and there's going to be more. Probably lots more and probably all across Canada.

Every province in Canada is headed for suffering...and we have no idea how far this is going.

Forget the idea Liberals and Conservatives serve us. They never have. They serve whoever pays them. And Canada, like the U.S., has never been a democracy. Get used to it. ALL Canadian prime ministers have run for office with donations paid for by the wealthy. And all Canadian prime ministers have kissed those donations.

(Well, there might be an exception with Tommy Douglas of the old CCF. In fact, he probably is the exception.)

Will the Liberals or the Conservatives win  the next election? It doesn't matter. Either will cheat us. And not far off is the certainty that we will be absorbed by a United States that operates on the same (lack of) principles.

Oh! The NDP? It does have principles. I guess that's why Canadians don't vote much for it.

I'm  getting on so far that I won't live much longer. And that's okay. I don't want to live much longer in this world. Really, it's terrible to live in a world governed by greed and evil.
