July 30: Yes. I know this one is messy. I'll try to be a good boy next time.

 Guess who, as I write this, is the leading country in gold medals at the Olympics.

No. It's not the U.S.  The U.S. is in third for gold medals. But the leader is...

China.

For over a 150 years, China was horribly and murderously plundered by Britain. Then the U.S. turned on it. It took China a long time to recover from this. But, since the 1970's the horribly abused China has been the class act in national development.

(No. This has not been the tone of western journalism. But western journalism has never been very good at telling the truth.)

We've never  been told what a miserable lot the British were in China, then in Hong Kong. The story on Hong Kong has always been ignored by our press.

I shall never forget the hot night I left my Hong Kong hotel for a while because I couldn't sleep.

I turned at the corner to see families dressed in rags sleeping on bits of cardboard. There seemed to be - and there were - miles of these wretched people. And there were, of course, no toilets, no water supply....

I hurriedly turned the next corner. - to see more miles of human misery. And more when I reached the next corner of that. There were thousands of them just in my area. I have no idea how many there were in other parts of Hong Kong. (I never saw them in daylight because there were all cleared out before dawn.)

As I passed parks I saw more of these wretched people on cardboard. There were also wire cages that seemed to be designed for elderly men. Nobody could stand or even sit in them. One could enter only by lying down and rolling sideways into a cage.

These were the wretched poor of Hong Kong. I would later learn that the children were condemned into poverty for life. Few could ever go to school.

Later, talking to the very arrogant and obnoxious Enlishman who represented power in Hong Kong, I learned of his contempt for the poor. And his refusal to help them. (Alas, I also learned he was my cousin in law.)

I was in Hong Kong to teach in a university there. I soon realized that those students were the children that the British had a use for. They would be kept and employed.

The rest would die on their cardboard squares.

Canada is spending 76.8 billion dollars to make sure Canadians can get 90 billion   barrels of oil. Isn't that just what we need? Yes. 90 billion barrels of oil. I mean, 90  billion barrels of oil could (would) kill millions of Canadians and millions of our American friends.

This is the estimate as climate change is opening the way to huge oil reserves in our Arctic. So climate change is good.

God bless oil billionaires.

(As I right this, China has just widened its lead in Gold Medals.)

As a  footnote to all this, the president of Memorial University in Newfoundland has announced that oil and gas are good for us.

Well, yeah. It's also true that university presidents are not a bright lot. Seriously.

I was once offered the presidency of a university. I turned it down as I realized that university presidents are expected to be puppets for the wealthy businessmen of the university board. I must do a blog on that some day.

And how are things getting along in your world and mind? We're all getting hammered. we're all getting destroyed. In Canada, our junior Trudeau has been eager to please the oil industry in the west and in the far north. That means huge forest fires. It means death to Canadians just like the deaths in California. It means the severe flooding we have seen all over the world. And that means hugely increased suffering all over the world. In the north it means billions of tons of showers of carbon dioxide over huge areas.

Our whole world is dying in what we like to call climate change. And it only gets worse.

It has already hit much of the U.S. And oh, yes, it's going to hit central and eastern Canada.

To our oil billionaires, the important thing is it makes profits. And they are making their biggest profits in history, and all of this is destroying wild life that we need. It may sound rdiculous, but we humans cannot survive in a world losing insects like ants, bees, and all the way through the animals. We cannot survive with the tremendous damage we are doing to our oceans and lakes. Already, Californians are suffering human deaths for lack of drinking water. And it can only get worse.

This is happening now all over the world. We are now already losing water, agriculture, and we're killing human life. Indeed, it is very likely that half of this world's people will die for lack of food and water. (That means billions of people.) In the long run, it may mean all of us.)

(On the other side, it means the destruction of most of the  people of Africa and huge areas Asia. But who gives a damn?)

I mean, we are all busy, in the long run, of killling us all.

Pay special attention to the U.S. The American spread of aerial  poisons is already stretching across most of Canada. Soon, very soon, the U.S. will insist on a takeover of Canada. And the Liberals and Conservative will clap hands.

We might also give some thought to this country we call a democracy. Indeed, there are almost no  democracies in the whole world. Certainly, Canada and the U.S. are not democracies - and never have been. In both countries - and as in most of the world - they are controlled by the wealthy. (A democracy would be a country in which we control billionaires. But the U.S. is collapsing now because Americans don't own their nation - billionaires own it.

And yes, the U.S. is a failing nation. That's why it's 20 year war in Afghanistan has beaten them. This is, almost certainly, the beginning of a collapse of the U.S itself. But that is coming far to late for most of us get any control over it.

July 27: The Final Days?

 I,000 children is just the starting record of Canadian indigenous children as young as three being murdered with the authority of Canadian governments and the Roman Catholic Church.It was a definite decision on the part of   government and churches  - and, in the case of churches all the way up to the pope.

The record so far also includes  the murder of uncounted  indigenous people by spreading smallpox in their blankets. Indigenous people were also dispersed by kicking them out of territories that were livable, and forcing them to live in barren lands and swamps. And now that governments admit some of this, they and the Roman Catholic church are doing - nothing.

This is the destruction of a whole society.

As well, we've (the governments,  priests, churches, the Pope) only uncovered a tiny part of the thousands of indigenous children as young as three that we have murdered.

And millions of the guilty - governments, priests, churches, and the Pope have not done a thing. This is on a level with Hitler's murder of the Jews.

And they aren't going to do a thing. Depend on it.

Trudeau is a leading wimp in all this. And the Conservatives are right up there wiith him.

We need to reorganize the miserable lands we have forced on our indigenous people. And we need to make up for the horrible racism we have practiced over the years.

Or will we go on as gutless bullies and thieves?

I just came across a story that the super rich at 1ess than 1 percent of the population of the U.S. have taken 150 TRILLION dollars out of the rest of Americans.

(The pattern in Canada  is similar - but not ever mentioned anywhere.) 

Well, that's why millions of Americans live in wretched poverty. That's why American children are dying in the streets. And it can only get worse with the average American earning less, much less every year, income so far as much of the population is concerned Education is being destroyed. Health care, always a disaster in the U.S., has disappeared for much of the population.

The US murders all over the world - for it's rich.The word democracy is absurd.

America? There is not such a thing. And the American people have lost any sense of  the meaning of their world. There is no significant sense of what American means.

That takes us into a world of super chaos. And that, within twenty years or less, takes us all to the end.

Oh, and by then  (under government by Conservatives and Liberals), Canada will be American.

The U.S. maintains a prison at Guantanamo. At first, back  in the early 1900s, the U.S. stole Guantanmo from Cuba. (That was illegal, but what the hell....)  

Since then Guantamo has been vilest of prisons. It is entirely a torture location for the American government.

And why shouln't it be a torture location on American soil?

That's because it is illegal for any country, including the U.S., to have a torture (and murder) prison. So the U.S. gets it's dirty work done just outside the U.S. And, yes, that's the constant work of the U.S. in Guantanamo -  torturing people.

Remember how the U.S. got uppity moral when China killed people on China soil? Remember how indignant we were about it? Yes, Americans can get very indignant with others who sin. But the U.S. is by far the worst illegal killer in the world.  It murders children right down to babies by the million. (Nobody knows how many.) It has a branch of the air force (and quite illegal one) that bombs people it isn't even at war with. And the bombers have no crews. They are operated from pilots sitting in rooms in the U.S. The targets are usually civilians,   children.....  

The U.S. news media, of course, never mention this.

Most U.S. wars are fought, not to fight any enemy but to lavishly and illegally murder people, especially children, for the glory and profit of American billionaires. The billionaires pay virtually no tax for all this of course. Their joy is plundering our murdering and mostly illegal wars.

Compared to the U.S., Hitler was an okay guy.

Oh, be prepared. The U.S. is now suffering from the damage of fires and deaths that can only get worse. As it get worse, it will demand that Canada become a part of the U.S. Wimpy Trudeau and the Conservatives will trip over trying to kiss American bums.

Is Canada going to suffer yet more from our western fires? Of course it will. Climate change has no limits. It  is already part of daily life in most of the world. Of course, the super rich won't pay for all this. The rest of us will be impoverished while the super rich run wild.

In the process we will be paying for the horrible dangers of climate change and, oh, it's much worse than we can imagine. Climate change does not mean just wildfires. It's much worse.

It means of course, temperatures we cannot survive. Those are created  by billionaire coal and gas corporations - the ones Trudeau just humbly kissed.

It also means tremendous loss of  animals and, yes, insects. And that is devastating. It is murdering fish by the billions in the seas, animals in the northern and northern regions. Insects have a far greater effect on us than we realize. And we have destroyed huge regions of that. We have already lost more insects than we can afford to lose. That's part of why a destruction of agriculture is happening all over the world.

We are in danger, far greater danger than our news media are telling us.It's already killing millions.

Of course, our billionaires  don't tell us about this. They will contine to destroy us and enrich themselves.

Then they will quietly disappear to places they have prepared.

Our world cannot possibly survive the damage we are doing to it. We can't any longer survive murder and plunder by the billionaires. (and,  in the long run, I don't think they can survive either.)

June 23: I'm sorry. I didn't see the depth our worship of the greedy.

 This will be brief. And it's about change in the western world that I should have looked at much more quickly. 

Capitalism has always been an abuse of the average people of our society. But the rise of  Jeff  Bezos should have us really scared. He has taken the U.S. back into a world of darkness and fear. And Canadian capitalists (and our Liberal and Conservative parties) also go back into that world.

Bezos has nothing but contempt for the average person. He built his fortune out of  Amazon stores, a chain   that made him super rich out of his contempt for his employees. He forbade unions. He made no concessions or benefits for those desperate people he employed. Unions were forbidden. All of his salaries were beneath living levels. Anyone who asked for anything was fired on the spot.

That's how he became the richest man in the world.

His wealth came as Americans were dying in their thousands as the hungry and homeless.

But at his recent peak, Bezos, spent millions for a huge gift to himself, a rocket that he soared in for ten minutes.

He enjoyed his time, and paid no attention to the millions of Americans who, adults and children, were dying in the streets.

This is a man who takes us back centuries to a world of fabulous wealthy who celebrated at the king's court  while most of the nation suffered. Indeed, the Bezos of the old world of the Roman Empire were his kind of people. and, like them, he would let the  bulk of the population of Rome starve in the streets - perhaps with a distraction of the mob by amusing it with bloody killing in the forum. And when the ordinary people of Rome died, their bodies were simply dumped in huge pits and, eventually, covered over.

Bezos, like the aristocacy of Rome, is evil and destructive. And that is what this world has become. The US intends to go to war to kill tens of millions (maybe more) of Chinese. The Americans who want this don't want it because China is a threat. They want it destroyed to meet the greed of wealthy Americans.

And the Americans doing this will probably be assisted by Canadian troops at the wish of the Canadian wealthy (and the Canadian Legion).

We are facing a terrible world created by the super wealthy. Indeed, we know that American troops since 1949 have produced at least thirty thousand veterans  who committed suicide as they saw what they had done. That's far more than they lost in the fighting.

You'd think the Canadian Legion - which is supposed to help our military - would have the intelligence to see if this has happened with Canadian troops. But the Legion hasn't done it, and it won't.

The U.S. has spent its money to serve the super rich. And,  on the way, it has been impoverishing the American people. Canada is,  I think, going down the same road with the Liberals and Conservatives. Trudeau, for example, recently gave a blessing for expansion of oil projects,  the ones that are killing people in British Columbia. Conservative premiers are doing the same.

So it is that Canada has two lying and destructive political parties. In fact, the only party that is serious about us surviving is the NDP.

And our news media (radio, TV, newspapers) are as corrupt as the Liberals and Conservatives are.

I'm  going to die soon. 

But I have children and grandchildren. And they are growing up in a society that is actually worse, more vicious, more lying than Hitler's Germany ever was.

I'm very much afraid we are going back, way back, to the middle ages and even back to the worst of Rome.

July 22: The world change that has never made our news media.

 

As I began this, it seemed to me I should explain how we got to where we are.

These are very bad times,  indeed.

Jeff Bezos, the richest man in the world, spent billions to get up in the air in a rocket. The thrill lasted for ten minutes. It had no scientific value whatever.

While he was up there, homeless American children were dying  from disease and hunger - and that was happening in the millions.

But Jeff Bezos didn't care. But he did give a damn for Jeff Bezos. And the companies he controls are low, low paying with no employment benefits. His ten minute thrill was done at a cost that was billions. His employees got not a cent. They got nothing but starvation wages. As an employer, he lives on a giant scale. His employees get very few holidays, no health care... In the end, his employees just get trashed.

That is what's called capitalism and, oh, capitalism is flying in the U.S. We haven't seen contempt and, yes, slavery, like this for a century and more.

There are, I suppose, at least a hundred men in the U.S. just like Bezos. They starve children in Latin America, and send them to work in mines from the age of six or so. They were involved (with Canadian help) in the destruction of democracy in  Haiti. The Canadian help amounted to Canadian soldiers and police who murdered Haitians.

(The Canadian Legion called this 'fighting for country'.)

The Canadian Legion has said the same for troops we have sent to kill in Korea, in Afghanistan, Syria, the Middle East. We will also, almost certainly, send them to Cuba when the U.S. tells us to.

This is fighting for Canada? No. This has nothing to do with fighting for Canada. This is just kissing the asses of super rich Canadians and Americans. In all the wars Canadians have killed and died in since 1945 not one was to defend Canada. Indeed, nobody in the period has ever attacked Canada at all. (The last time anybody threatened to attack Canada was the US shortly after 1900.)

The reality is the Canadian Legion sends out our soldiers as hired killers. The Legion likes to talk as though this has something to do with honour. The reality is that the leaders of the Canadian Legion are low on brains and high on ass-kissing U.S. billionaires.

(In it's origins The Canadian Legion supported British wars. But it was obvious in 1945 that Britain was a dead duck. So that's when the Legion tapered off on singing God Save the Queen, and switched to God Saving the U.S.)

The reality we have to live with is that our biggest enemy is the U.S. That is going to be very clear quite soon as American territory is consumed by climate change all across the U.S. That's when the U.S. will insist on making Canada a part of the U.S. And, yes. This is very likely in the near future.

By the way, who started these monster fires in the U.S. and western Canada? Well, that would be the oil companies who filled our skies with carbon dioxide and other chemicals. And these come down on us, set monster fires, sicken us.

And Trudeau's Liberals and the Conservatives and both American parties have blessed these oil companies. The only party in all of North America opposed to oil and its poisons is the NDP. (That's not a political statement.  It's the truth.)

Alas! Liberals, Conservatives, GOPs and Democrats have always supported destructive and greedy causes - and Canadians and Americans have always been dumb enough to support them.

Wake up!

This world cannot afford another big war. The weapons have become far, far too powerful. And we have far, far more serious problems to deal with. The world also has too many people. Nature, essential to us, has been  crowded out of our lives. We have destroyed much of the animal world - and we need to get it back.

But instead of that, we have destroyed much of our world, overcrowding it with cities. How do we deal with that? I don't know. But it has to be done.

And while I'm on this binge, let me wake up all of us to a reality we have ignored.

Most people think of China as a backward country. And so it was until very, very recently.

When I was in China, it was, indeed, horribly backward. That shouldn't surprise anyone. China was, after all, a hundred and fifty years in vile persecution imposed by the British. The people of China were not stupid and they were not evil. They were victims of the greed and brutality of Britain and then (now) of the U.S.

That was very obvious as I travelled about China in the 1970s and 80s. Hong Kong seemed much better then. Alas! I felt differently when I went out one night for a walk.

I liked Hong Kong. I liked my students. I liked their parents. In fact, I seriously thought of moving to Hong Kong.

I did not like the British who ruled Hong Kong. They were arrogant racists. Particularly wretched was the governor's advisor, the man who really ran the place. (Worse news was to come. I learned that the advisor who was the most arrogant and racist of the lot was my cousin in law. He was married to my cousin.)

But I liked the Chinese.

Then, one night, I went out for a walk. I was stunned by what I saw. Everywhere, the streets were jammed with people sleeping cheek to cheek on pieces of cardboard - adults, children, babies.... other's slept on galleries. Elderly men slept in wire cages just big enough to lie down in. No matter where I walked and looked I saw this misery and horror that stretched out of sight. I had no idea how many there were -- certainly it was many, many thousands of wretched and starving people.

I  don't know whether this has changed in Hong Kong. I   doubt it. The British didn't give a damn about the misery of the people they ruled.

Mainland China was the victim of British control for over 150 years. And it was caught in the misery until very recently.

But, oh, things have changed.

Communist China has what is probably the best housing in the world. The buildings are new. And everyone is entitled to  housing. Even the poorest get free housing. (compare that to the misery of the homeless in Canada and the U.S.) This is an amazingly different China in amazingly quick time.

Education? The new China may well have the best education system in the world. And it's free. Jobs in China are plentiful and well paid. Medical care is excellent and free for all. (Compare that to the U.S. where, if you don't have much money you can simply die in the street.)

Cars? Oh, yes. China also has our curse of dense traffic jams.

Everyone, even the poorest, is well fed. (It's better than Ottawa in that.)

In short, China has become an amazingly advanced country - and more caring of it's people than is the U.S. or Canada.

Funny how our news media haven't noticed that.

Does it kill people? Yes. That happens against some groups. But it is nowhere close to the mass murder by Americans in the U.S. and all over the world. The U.S. is by far the worst mass murderer in the world.

In short, China is quite possibly the most advanced country in the world. That's an astonishing change. But you'll never see our news media mention this.

It is also now a leader in economic development all over the world. And that's what has the U.S. scared. China has the fastest growing economy in the world. In a short time, it is close, very close to beating the American economy.

That's why the U.S. is giving a lot of thought to invading China. As usual, American corporations will demand that the American people go to war against China.     (The American capitalists won't pay for it. They'll get you and me to pay for it.)

July 21 This is a huge topic. I need time.

 There's a man who is super at the top ranks of those who are super rich. I can never remember his name. It's something like bozo. Anyway, his wealth is huge. And all this  caught my attention when I read that he had built a hugely expensive aircraft that could go to outer space - not to another planet,  but just to space. And his first use for it?

He sold huge seats for giggling super rich women who would flop around in space for the fun of it and then giggle at cocktail parties.

Now, he and the women are Americans. American children by the millions are living in filth, and often on the streets or   in fields. Many are dying while still children, dying because they have little or no food and no shelter.

Isn't there something wrong with this?

Oh, yeah. His name is Jeff Bezos, the world's richest man. I guess he decided to go into space. He came back with the advice the world should dump all it's garbage in space. Yeah. Now I think about it, maybe we should dump Jeff Bezos in space.

 Suddenly, climate change has become the major  force in this world.It's not just California and British Columbia. The heat and the wild fires now almost cross over most of the U.S. and a good deal of Canada. It has struck savagely at the eastern Soviet Union. Europe has seen a dreadful flooding that has killed hundreds and will kill a great many more. China is experiencing unheard of floods with people drowning in subways. The effect of this is flooding that is affecting millions.

Are you a lover of New York?  It is now ranked as having the worst air quality in the world. And it's all because of the widespread forest fires throughout the U.S. The smoke is smothering New York making it almost too bad to breath. And this comes just after New York's bout with flooding.

You can take it as a certainty that a great number of Americans will be demanding the right to make Canada a part of the U.S.  So be patient and you'll soon be able to get military weapons at your local gun store.

Will Canada reject the American demand? Not likely. Not as long as Liberals and Conservatives are the only governments we have. Trudeau has already made it clear he will do whatever the U.S. and Canadian billionaires tell him to do. That's been true throughout Canadian history. The same is true for all Canadian billionaires.

Canada, by the way has the worst record in the western world for it's ass-kissing of billionaires. That's why Canada is way below other nations in it's control of the oil industry.

Luckily for Canada - sort of - all Liberals and Conservatives support this suicidal form of government. (I feel very, very lucky I'm old.)

Meanwhile, the super rich of this world are soaking up the good with super high prices for those meds we need to survive. Thus the extremely high prices they charge - especially in the U.S. (even having a baby in an American hospital costs tens of thousands of dollars. The whole purpose of a hospital in the US is to make the rich richer.

OKAY, I'M SWITCHING TO THIS PRINT BECAUSE MY COMPUTER IS KICKING ME TO DO IT THIS WAY. SORRY.

THE ABOVE IS WHY EAST AFRICA IS GETTING ALMOST NO HELP AT ALL. THERE'S NO MONEY TO BE MADE OUT OF IT. A HELL OF A LOT OF THEM ARE DYING. CUBA WILL HELP THEM AS MUCH AS IT CAN. THE US AND CANADA WILL JUST LET THEM DIE.

THIS IS A LONG AND COMPLEX STORY. WE ALL NEED TIME TO GET SOME UNDERSTANDING OF IT. AND WE SURE ARE NOT GOING TO GET UNDERSTANDING FROM THE GLOBE AND MAIL OR ALL THOSE OTHER GODAWFUL COMMERCIAL NEWS MEDIA.

I WROTE ALL THE ABOVE BECAUSE I HAD TO SAY SOMETHING. BUT NOW I NEED A DAY OR TWO TO WORK OUT THE POINTS I NEED TO COVER. THEN I'LL START WITH A LITTLE MORE FOCUS.

July 18: The blog I didn't want to write

 I   don't want to write this. I know many people will be angry at what I write. But I think it's a truth we have to recognize. It's a reality we have to think about.

When the British Empire was at it's peak - from the late 1700s to the early 1940s, - it pretty well ruled the world. In fact, Many a brit still rejoices in that age of conquest - Rule Britannia, Britannia rules the waves. For Britons never, never, never shall be slaves...

In fact, nobody was trying to enslave Britain. It was Britain that was enslaving millions  (even billions) of others. In that glorious age, it murdered hundreds of millions - men, women, children. The British also impoverished and enslaved most of their own population while they enriched their own   aristocracy.

An example of that age was Winston Churchill. In India, he murdered millions of men, women, and children by starvation.    (It was convenient. And he was not, by the way, a great wartime leader. In fact, the British despised him and kicked him out just before the end of World War 2.)

The British also enslaved the whole population of China for almost 200 years. They British also suckered Canadians into a British war so the British could steal the gold mines of South Africa. (The British needed Canada in this to set a precedent for big British wars, of which one soon came along. Then Canadians could die in British wars. Since 1945, Canadians have been suckered into American wars. That's why Canadians died in Aghanistan and Korea, wars that really had no connection to Canada. A Canadian missionary in Guatemala was deliberately murdered by American mercenaries hired to kill Christians in Guatemala. It didn't even make our papers. 

In short, the British Empire was no different from Hitler's Germany - except it was bigger. (and, yes, the British empire had mass murders just like Hitler's  mass murder of Jews.) The British Empire was not heroic. It was Nazi.

The U.S. has been Nazi from the start. It murdered everyone in the way of American expansion. (And it also tried Canada several times.) It carried out mass murder all over Latin America - including, as we should know -Cuba.  (It's now getting ready to attack Cuba - and it is quite possible it will demand that it's Canadian murderers join it. And count on it, the Canadian Legion will wet it's pants for the chance to kill Cubans.

Meanwhile, the U.S. is busy with  it's murder and theft in the oil fields of the middle east.

There was nothing unusual about Hitler's murderism. We have all of us been Naziis. And most of us still are. The American assault on China (which the Canadian Legion will cheer) may well be the end when our super rich flee to their underground mansions.

Meanwhile, we are all Nazis.

On the way, we Nazis will continue to mouth praise of Christ while,  for over a thousand years, our churches have been thronged with Nazi killers - including the ones in the pulpits of our churches.

The most recent tragedy by the way has been Nazi trend of  Israel.

July 16: It's worse, much worse than any of us can imagine.

 Germany has just suffered flooding that has left a hundred people dead. And the damage  extends into Belgium and The Netherlands.

Yes. Climate change is happening. It's not just happening in California. Climate change is happening all over the world. And yes, it's going to keep spreading. And another yes, it's largely caused by our use of gasses created by the oil industry.

And both Biden and Trudeau have been on the side of the oil industry. We've  known about this for over twenty years. And both have made it worse. Of course. In Canada, both Liberals and Conservatives have been the friends of the oil industry that is killing us. In the U.S.  both Democrats and GOP have supported the oil industry. Of course....

... all four of those parties are financed by, among others, the oil industry.

The reality is that Liberals, Conservatives, Democrats and GOPs have always been Controllers of Canadian and American governments. Canada and the U.S. are NOT  democracies. They never have been. (In fairness, I have to add that I don't know of any western country that is truly a democracy. All are owned by the wealthy. One of the worst examples of that is New Brunswick where the super-wealthy Irving family owns the government (the premier of New Brunswick was a senior official in the Irving family's business empire.) The Irvings also own the newspapers of New Brunswick. Oh, and they also get lavish gifts of billions of dollars every year from the taxes of the people of New Brunswick.

In Canada and the U.S., governments daily toss the poor and hungry into the streets and to sleep on the streets or in fields. They do this even as they hand out billions of dollars to the super rich who pay almost no tax in the first place.

Let's stop kidding ourselves. We are not democracies. We are not all equal.

I have to add a little more to the story of what's happening in Cuba. The real key to this tragedy is that when the Cubans kicked out the American thugs (who promptly became the leading thugs of Florida), the U.S. sent in American warships to surround Cuba, and to blog any trade for it.

That blockade was illegal under international law. But that's what the US did. The result? Cuba could not export it's products, and it couldn't import the food it needed to feed it's people.

And for sixty years, without a break, the U.S. has starved Cubans. And next?

Well, it might happily bomb Cuba. Or it might get Canada to go in - as Canada did in murdering Haitians. Canada's Liberals and Conservatives seem to be happy at murdering people to please the U.S.

American and U.S. TV seem much the same as the U.S. The U.S. broadcasting of news that seemed decent - if boring - has been CNN. But I watched it's coverage this evening and it was just disgusting lying about Cuba.

Is the U.S. going to get more honest? No way. This is the U.S. - which has been murdering men, women, children, babies (deliberately) since 1949. There is no available number, but it is certainly in the millions. American soldiers have been killing themselves in tens of thousands as they realize what they have done.

Luckily, the Canadian Legion doesn't think at all. (Or, I wonder.... maybe it's time to find out how many Canadian military, like the Americans, have been ashamed for the killing they have done.) 

We are being set up for a horrible war on Cuba, for mass murder, for a return to the Americans who plundered, starved, abused, murdered Cubans for forty years.

Americans are the Nazis of our time. And, too often, so are we.

footnote - keep an eye on the terrible flooding in Europe. Whole cities are flooded and an uncounted number have died. We're going to see a lot of that. It's what's called climate change and, roughly, the same horror as afflicts the western U.S. and Canada.

Our refusal to deal with it is going to affect all of us. But we mustn't complain. We musn't offend the billionaires who own the oil industry.

We are facing the destruction of our planet. (and no, I'm not exaggerating.) That's why the super rich have built underground bunkers. We are letting ourselves be bullied and murdered by a handful of the very rich.

July 15: Our News Media as Liars.

 When I was young - and probably before you were even born - we got a TV. And a programme we were glued to was about Cuba in the days when the U.S. controlled it. It was horrifying. Murder by government thugs was common. I still remember a picture of a government thug screaming at us through his window.

In addition to those thugs, the U.S.  gave a prominent role to American gangsters as torturers and killers. (I'm not exaggerating any of  this.) I can still remember scenes from that series. And those shows, like all TV shows would be stored and kept.

So how come our TV channels now don't show us those shows about how murderous Americans are?

I also note that  the videos we now see on TV show only the pro-Americans in the demonstrations.  

I note also that large parts of Cuba are not demonstrating against their government So how come they don't appear on the screen?

It looks very much as though we are being set up.

The American role in Cuba and all Latin America has been brutal and murderous for almost a hundred years. Children, as in other Latin American countries, were commonly denied education of any sort. Instead, as in other Latin American countries, the children starting at age six or so, were sent off as VERY cheap labour, including working in mines.

Castro's Cuba has been changing all that. And that's why it has to be stopped.

Funny how our news services never cover that.

On a guess, I think (I'm pretty sure) we are being set up for an American invasion of Cuba. It's also possible, even probable, that Canada will be asked to participate. And, since Canadians news media are as lying as American ones are, Canada will say yes. (we've done it before - as in Haiti.) And the Canadian Legion will wet it's pants in eagerness.

(Oh, a footnote to all this. Our news media have been giving us the impression of thousands of demonstraters. But I note that the New York Times says "hundreds".)

We're being set up by the propaganda machines we call our "news media".

The U.S. wars are all fought for the same reason - to give the U.S. control. And that control is to plunder all other countries. Nor do the American people get any benefit from these wars. The benefit goes only to American billionaires. In fact, ordinary Americans have been going down the tube for a good twenty years. The massive growth of wealth for the rich has risen out of sight. Americans don't matter. Not unless they are super rich Americans.

On that basis, the U.S. has been mass murdering all over the world since 1949.

Oh, hell - it's worse than that. The U.S. has been mass murdering from the day the pilgrims landed. And no, I'm not exaggerating. Coming up is the big one, the war against China.

The U.S. went to war in 1941 - not because of Pearl Harbour. And it didn't go to war to defeat Hitler. It went to war because the British had lost China. American business entered that war because it opened the door to conquer China.  That richest piece of imperial property seemed wide open. U.S. capitalists also saw their chance to steal British oil colonies in the middle east. And so they did.

And count on it. If the American exposure to heat waves and hundreds of forest fires gets worse, the U.S. will demand a Canadian union with the U.S.

I'm going to try to send my posts a little more quickly because we need to know what kind of world we live in. We humans are the only animals who make it a point to murder and abuse our own kind. That's been happening for thousands of years. Curiously, Americans, and other types, (as in the British Empire, the French Empire, etc.) impoverish their own people.

As a part of this, the U.S. is looking for a war with China in the next ten years or so. And that, given our world's massive stock of highly poisonous weapons could very well mean the destruction of all life on earth.

14: Do not believe your journalists.

 As I write this, George W. Bush, U.S. president at the start of the Afghanistan war, wept on television that the   women and children would now be killed by the Taliban.

The news media applauded his compassion....

I guess we've all forgotten that the man who targetted women and children in that war was - George W. Bush. In fact, then and since then, American wars have made a point of singling women and children for death. It is by far this world's murderer of women and children.

American troops have been assigned the task in much of the world to starve, to murder women and children.

And George Bush wept.

You would think that American news media would leap all over that story. But no. American news media are hired to lie.

And we accept that.

Huge numbers of veterans  have been killing themselves after their army days. In fact, more American soldiers, by far, are comitting suicide. And it's almost certainly  because they are more honest that George W. Bush is.

It might be useful for the Canadian Legion to see if this happens to Canadian veterans, too.

But don't hold your breath on that one.

Anyway, Canadians are part of that game.  I think of the case of a Canadian missionary in Guatemala who was murdered by American mercenaries.  This was some time ago, around 1960 when U.S. hired killers were mass murdering missionairies, priests and nuns in that country. It was a story that never made our Canadian news media.

I learned it, years later, when I had a radio show. A Montreal doctor told me the body of the priest had been brought to Montreal. And that was the first I heard of the American mass murder in Guatemala. So I called the doctor. She told me the body was being sent to his home in New Brunswick. There it was buried in his church graveyard - and on one side of that graveyard, was the church of New Brunswick's wealthiest family, the Irvings. On the other side was the home of the Irvings.

The New Brunswick newspapers never printed the story. The Irvings also owned the newspaper.

When I say that our news media are liars, this is no exaggeration - thus the events in Cuba.

Cuba has almost no food. Our lying news media say that's because the government of Cuba is evil and communist. President Biden agrees, and has announced he will bring democracy to Cuba.

And I guess that's the  version of the story you've been seeing in our news media. And it's a lie.  Your newspapers, radio and TV are liars.

Going back to the 1920's, American capitalists plundered, starved, tortured and murdered Cubans on a daily basis. But, under Castro, the Cubans got control of their own country.

The U.S. promptly surrounded Cuba with aircraft, the navy... That was illegal - something our reporters don't seem to know. It wasn't possible for Cuba to get food. The U.S. also forbade any other country to trade with Cuba.

Everybody in Cuba was hungry - both the government and the people. And all these American actions were illegal.

Despite that, Cuba made remarkable progress. It trained doctors and donated them to poverty stricken countries in Africa. It brought education (which the U.S. had ignored)  to a Cuba whose children never, under American control, had a chance.

Our news media never told us that. Get used to it. Canadian (and American) news media are dominated by liars. These are propaganda sheets, puppets for our super rich national thieves.

And President Biden? He's really not much different from Trump. And Canada's Trudeau and the Conservatives are of the same filth, lies and corruption - and ignorance.

Above all, those who believe our news media are fools.

July 13: An Extra Opinion for the Week.

 The western U.S. and Canada are now becoming unlivable. There is murderous heat in Death Valley where temperatures are the highest ever recovered anywhere -  54.6C. -and it's going to get worse. Experience tells us this will get worse in September and October. In the U.S., things are even worse as water supplies are vanishing. Hoover Dam is a monster dam. But the water it was holding has largely vanished, drawn up to  the sky  by the heat.

The American experience (California,Arizona, Washington State, Nevada, Oregon) is covered in gigantic wildfires. So is British Columbia - and they are spreading into our prairie provinces. So far, some 300 fires have been identified, most of them covering huge areas.

In Canada, our prime minister recently gave permission to the oil industry to increase it's movement of fossil fuel. In the U.S., president Biden is issuing fossil fuel permits quicker even than Trump did.

Latin Americans are fleeing across the border to get away from the horror in their own countries. A high proportion of them are children. So far this year, 127 of the children have been found dead in desert heat.

This is the strongest example we have yet seen of climate change. And it's going to move east.  (It already has in most of the U.S.)

We know how it happens. We've known it for at least twenty years now. It's from the rise of chemical gasses - especially the gas generated by oil. Indeed, scientists have been telling us this for years. But both Trudeau and Biden are the ass kissers of the fossil fuel billionaires.  In fact, Trudeau has been their boy from his start.

Canadians and Americans have died. It's going to get worse, much worse as the oil industry kills us.

All this, I suppose, is why we are doing nothing to defend ourselves. This is why oil billionaires have prepared their deep underground mansion bunkers where they    can live in comfort while most of us die.

Wake up!  Because if you don't, you could be the next victim of 'climate change'.

Our news and radio reports have been very hard on Cuba and of Cuban protests against their government.  I had a suspicion the version of this news was not entirely honest. That's not suprising. Our news media in Canada and the U.S. are not to be trusted.

There have been demonstrations against the government - but only a small proportion of the Cuban people have been taking part in them. (Yes. Canada's news media are mostly liars.)

Only a relatively small number in Cuba have taken part in demonstrations. Conditions in Cuba have certainly been terrible from the start. But those conditions were created by the American government, not by anybody in Cuba. For sixty years, American governments have savagely blockaded the Cuban government. Any suffering in Cuba is caused by that.

Get used to it. Your local paper is almost certainly a liar. I learned  in my CBC days that CBC is probably the best conventional news service in Canada. But I also learned that top brass at CBC sometimes insisted on lies. (When I was weekly on CBC radio, I was also on the board of the English rights groups, Alliance Quebec, at that time when French politicians were determined to destroy the English.  I never mentioned that issue on air. But the bosses of the French section of CBC insisted  I should be fired anyway.

And newspapers? I don't know of any newspaper in Canada that can be trusted. And, certainly,  that also includes U.S. papers - even the New York Times.

July 12: The murdering bastards we call capitalists

 I'm pretty old. Some day soon I'm going to die. I look forward to it.

Our lives are governed by thieving, murderous, greedy people. And that came to me with real force as I followed the news from Cuba where there were demonstrations against the government. I noticed that none of the demonstrators were anywhere close to being old.

They protested that the government was communist. Well?  So?

I'm not a communist. But if someone else wants to be one, it's as good as anything else on the shelf. The United States is capitalist. American capitalists have kicked American families out of their homes by the millions. It is starving them. Meanwhile, capitalist Americans plunder the world,  pay no taxes, have the biggest incomes in history,  - and do nothing to help the starving poor. The same is true of Canadian capitalists if on a smaller scale.

As for Cuba, us old folks remember it when it was ruled by the U.S. It was on TV regularly. The streets were controlled by murderous gangsters  who killed citizens at random. Torture for no reason at all was constant.

To cap it all the U.S. was the real power in Cuba. It approved of the gangsters. The U.S. also imported American top rank gangsters to keep Cubans in line. In fact, American top ranked gangsters were the real and only government of  Cuba. Mass murder and torture were the fun games of the day.

President Biden knows that. And those are the good ol' days he wants to bring back.

In their years of control, American governments made Cuba a living hell.

President Biden is a murderous liar. He knows all this. He also knows that when Cuba did get control of its country, the U.S. forbade any country from trading with it. The U.S., of course, also forbade any country from dealing with Cuba. The U.S. also stole Haiti's Guantanamo which, to this day, it has used for extended (and illegal) torture. Real sweethearts, those Americans.

And now, liar Biden has pretended he wants to help Cuba.

Is the Cuban government communist? I don't know. It probably has elements of communism. Is that bad? No. Any government has the right to be whatever it wants. Is communism evil? No. In fact, most Americans (and Canadians) have no idea what it is.

What we should realize is that capitalism is a stunningly brutish ism with a long history of mass murder.

But I noticed that the Cuban crowds on TV were not elderly. They don't know the past. And they don't know the future they are setting themselves up for.

Our world (unless we smarten up) is a model of what we have been doing for thousands of years. A small group of us became rulers -  kings, empires....., . and they ruled, using the rest of us as tools for their greed. And the rest of us became poor, starving - and worse.

And we are still living in that. Rome had a population that lived in filth and hunger while a tiny minority live in unimaginable wealth. The British Empire was like that. Thus its mass murder to kill hundreds of millions of Chinese, of India, and others. And thus the American multi billionares who murder children and babies in their thousands all over the world.

Oh, thinks about all those dead and rudely buried indigenous children in Canada and the U.S.

And thus the Canadian legion that kills anybody it's told to kill. (wouldn't it be interesting to find out if Canadian veterans suffer suicide after a war as so many Americans do?)

July 10: Canadians - get used to singing God Bless America

 Thinking of going to Las Vegas? Bad idea. Las Vegas is under a brutal sun of 40 degrees and over as high   (so far) as 45. And don't even think of taking a stroll outside Vegas. All you can see from that misery is desert as far as the eye can reach. And that is  because the water that Vegas needs for it's meals has largely disappeared.

And agriculture? Forget it.

Indeed, all of California and well beyond California the land of desert -  there are signs of that stretching well across the whole of the U.S. That's climate change. And all across the country there are wildfires, far more wildfires than can be controlled.

And that means, among other things, massive destruction of farming.

In a variation of American troubles, New York is a disaster area of flooding. And, no, I don't mean localised flooding. I mean deep and long-lasting flooding. And that, too, is climate change.

The U.S. has suffered tremendous damage, much of which is getting worse. So what will the U.S. do?

It will turn to land that has not yet suffered so badly. Of course, it will expect that land to become American territory. So forget the O Canada stuff. Practice the words to God Bless America.

No. I'm not exaggerating. I'm  quite sure this is going to happen. Canada is also attractive because it has huge, northern areas that are not terribly far north but healthier than climate change areas.

The news  from Haiti is a great example of how our news media are liars. The killing of the president, Govene Moise, is treated as the brutal murder of a good man who was the loved leader of the people of Haiti.

 Come off it.

Moise was never elected. On the contrary. Even the gangster government that we  (Canada, U.S., and France) established in Haiti, hated Moise. He was a murderous, plundering, amazingly  self-centred torturer, killer, and thief.

Why did Canada take part in bringing Moise to power? It helped big, Canadian mining companies to get into Haiti's gold fields.   

The new ruler will be the same - but not quite so greedy and self-centered as Moise. And I betcha the U.S. will tell Canada to settle things in Haiti, and kill only the right gangsters and thugs.

And the Canadian Legion will wet it's pants to please the U.S. They will call it's role as "doing it for their country". That's a  term the Legion uses constantly - and neither they nor I have any idea what that term means.  ________________________________________________________________

President Biden is either a liar or a fool.

He has announced that the U.S. is leaving Afghanistan after more than 20 years because the U.S. went to war only to get Osama bin Laden.

Please. They went to war to get just one man? Well, they got him years ago. They killed him and threw his body into the sea. So why did the world's largest and most expensive military stay at war for years after?

And why did Canada sent troops to kill and die in that world? Any thoughts, Canadian Legion? Hint - American billionaires wanted control of the large and undeveloped resources of that country.

That's why almost all wars are fought - to plunder countries and make billionaires  even richer. That's why the U.S. wants a war with China. That's why it has large armies in the middle east. That's why it keeps a lid on democracy in Latin America. That's why it cannot accept Cuba as a democracy.

American  billionaires are  the greatest threat to this world. And the Canadian Legion, which should be serving the interest of those who have fought,  is like the British government, an ass kisser for American billionaires.

And the best part of it for American billionaires is that they pay almost no taxes for these wars. The American (and British and Canadians and others who kiss billionaire asses) do all the paying.That's why we can't pay or feed or house families who are living in the streets.

We are destroying ourselves and our children to enrich billionaires who give us nothing.

And as we get caught up in the killing, it gets worse, much worse, every year. And the destruction gets more vicious - as in the American enthusiasm for murdering and starving children in places like Yemen.

And that, in the not too distant future  will destroy all of us.

What's the greatest danger the American military face? No it isn't death on the battlefield. That's only be 7 or 8 thousand. The real danger comes after the war. That's when over 30,000 American veterans commit suicide.

That is something that our news media should be reporting on. But, of course, it won't.

Has the Canadian Legion studied this in the Canadian armed forces? No. The Legion isn't big on thinking.

There are many Palestinians who stayed in Israel when others fled to Palestine. Israel was never fond of them though their presence is quite legal. But all that is something you'll never find in most commercial newspapers.

Israel now is routinely arresting, torturing, and murdering the Jews who live in Israel - all of them. No reason is given. And the U.S. happily supplies Israel with the weapons it needs for this - and for it's happy attacks on all arabs in the region - including Palestine.

And that bears no resemblance to the principals of Judaism. Hitler failed to destroy Judaism. Now, the Jews of Israel are destroying what Hitler could not do.

They are destroying Judaism.

Another story you're not likely to see in your local newspaper or on TV news is that the U.S. wants to put an Australian journalist of high reputation into solitaire for the rest of his life.

Well, in fact, the US and the British been making life hard for him. They've doing this for most of his life. His crime? He told the truth.

There was nothing illegal about that - except in the minds of British and American politicians. Nothing he ever said was illegal. No. It was embarassing for some British and American politicians.

I can't remember now how long ago this began. It must have been 30 or 40 years ago. He was exiled (and could not leave) another country. Then, for years, he was locked in an empty apartment in London - without visitors. And he's now in solitary in a notorious British prison.

Now the U.S. wants him for a  continuing life of solitary confinement. The experience for a long time has been one of mental torture for the sin of telling the truth for his newspaper. His condition now is of a mind destroyed - and very close to death.

Remember - he has never done anything wrong. He simply told the truth as a journalist. It was all legal. (I don't know of any newspaper in Canada or the U.S. that tells the whole truth and nothing but the truth.)

The U.S. wants him. It want's to abuse what's left of him. The American government does not like people who tell the truth.

Australia, his home, wants him too. The people of Australia want this lifetime of torture ended. But in order for Australia to get him, Australia will be required to keep him in the same horrible condition in solitary until he dies.

Enjoy your Globe and Mail, and Washington Post, and even the New York Times. They never offend people with power. They keep themselves and us in ignorance of the real news.

American policy in war concentrates on starving children to death. This is happening all over the middle east in particular.

That might be why so many American soldiers commit suicide years after their wars.

 Oh, for a start, please go back to July 3. I added a larger piece to it - but did so after it was posted. The result is that nobody has read that part - and it's a dangerous one for us all. So please take a look at it.

Take a look at a web site that has never made our news media. It's called Bunker Builders. It appeared on BBC several years ago. It's a site that lists all that our super rich will be doing to protect themselves.

(Actually, it's about something the super rich have been doing for many years. So check out the site called Bunker Builders. It's about how the super rich are spending billions on underground mansions as their defence against climate change and other disasters. And, no. They won't have any room for you.)

A modest bunker is deep, deep underground beyond fear of nuclear attack and beyond fear of climate change. Deep down is the  billionaire with family and staff at 75 or so (doctors, cooks, servants) and with a minimum food supply of at least 2 to 5 years.

Some of these  bunkers are much larger, and they are found in North America and Europe - perhaps in Mexico. And some are designed to last longer  than others.

The plan is that when climate change hits and kills most of us peasantry, the super rich will emerge - with troops - to take control.

This is real.

On CBC news today prime minister Trudeau annnounced his dismay at the murder of the president of Haiti.   Yeah. He can get away with that because the Canadian news media never told the truth about Haiti.

Haiti is not a democracy. There was a very brief time when it was. But the U.S. destroyed that, and made Haiti a land ruled  by thugs and murderers. That's not unusual. American billionaires don't like dealing with honest governments. And many a country in Latin America   fits that American desire for dictatorships.

But the U.S. government didn't want to take the blame for destroying a democracy.

So - the U.S. instructed the Canadian government to send troops and police to enforce the dictatorship and kill anybody who objected to that.

The Canadian news media lied about all this. Worse, most of the Canadian news media ignored the whole story. The Canadian Legion, of course, wet it's pants with joy at kissing the American ass. And so it was that Canadian troops murdered democratic Haitians, and restored Haiti to government by   thugs and gangsters. .

 Since 1949, Canadian armies have fought only for the U.S. - which is the most murderous nation in the world today. 

We are supporters of the Naziis of our time. No. Worse. We are the Naziis of our time.

I knew Pierre Trudeau. Our politics were different. But at least he was a man of principal. Not so his son, Justin.

This starts with the 500 people who died in the flames of B.C. And, some days later, at least 180 wildfires raging through that province. That's because oil generates poisonous chemicals that destroy huge regions. It's a profitable business. But one that is murderous. It's happening all over the world. It's  happening over most of the U.S. 

And it's going to come to you and to me. Canada was supposed to put controls on this - but that never happened. Canada's oil industry owns both the Liberals and Conservatives. Justin Trudeau confirmed this when he shook hands with the oil billionaires. Yes. The Liberals and Conservatives are both bought. And we are about to pay a horrible price for that.

No,  It's not just Trudeau. It's those millions who  vote Liberal or Conservative. Now, from Toronto to Newfoundland, a lot of people are going to die.   (Americans are already dying in the thousands.) Children are especially vulnerable - but a lot of us adults are going to die, too.  Heat death now is killing at a rate of 5 million a year around the world. And it's going to be more, much more.

And what will happen to the oil barons? They're the ones who have underground mansions prepared for them and their lackeys.

Canada, incidentally, has the worst record of climate control in the world's advanced nations. And that means it has no record at all. Canada has made no advance in this for the last 40 years. You like oil, gas and coal. Enjoy. 

Yes, climate change is with us. Yes, it may well destroy us all.

Oh, the    explosion of climate change in B.C. is probably what recently killed about 1 BILLION specimens of marine life on the BC coast.

The oil companies are responsible for this disaster. They have ignored all the research of climate scientists. Instead, they have been responsible for at least 500 deaths with more to come. And with the help of Liberals, Conservatives, American GOPs and  Democrats, and our conventional news media are going to kill more. This is all going to spread over Canada and the U.S. indeed, all over the world.

The oil   companies are quite concious of what they are doing. They have known for decades that what poisons Canada is oil. They know that the gasses from oil float up then come down to create the poison we call climate change. Alas! They also know the Liberals and Conservatives will support them.

I remember that some decades ago our billionaires were building extremely expensive homes dug way down into the soil down south. Will they now go there to live in comfort while the rest of us die? (I haven't seen any mention of those homes lately. But I'm sure they still exist.)

Meanwhile, we are going to suffer the poisoning.

Forget the irrelevant dreareness of our commercial news media. Climate here has been building to the horror we have seen in BC and Alberta and much of the U.S.

And the oil companies are not going to change their murderous habits. And expect nothing from all those Conservatives and Liberals.

Climate change is very real and very horrible.

And yes. This is happening all over the world. Can we prevent it? I don't know. Perhaps. But the oil industry is not going to prevent anything. And our gutless Liberals and Conservatives won't lift a finger.

500 Canadians died in B.C. And before we wake up, thousands more will die - with as our news media tell us nothing.

Americans seem to be proud of their armed forces. I don't know why. They are the most murderous bastards we have seen since Nazi Germany. They have been constantly at war since 1949.

Killing evil people?

No.

The dead are commonly civilians, especially children, as American heroes bomb, and starve them. This takes us all the way back through the horrors of Hitler and of the British Empire.

Expensive, too. The U.S. war machine is the most expensive one in the world.

This is the country that has millions in the street, but can't afford to give it's sick medical care.

It's also the country in which a tiny number of the wealthy pay little to no taxes - but who insist the average American must pay heavily to make up for the taxes the rich don't pay. Instead, the rich make themselves even richer sending American heroes to murder and starve children all over the world.

Why does the U.S. spend so much on the military? Because that's very profitable for rich manufacturers.

Seriously. American wars have become hugely popular with billionaire weapons manufacturers.

And, what the hell....if you're going to kill poverty stricken foreigners, you might as well murder starving Americans.

The U.S. super rich wants to rule the world. (And that's hardly a secret.) And so it is that we live under the horrors of America's oil wealthy, that's why Canada joins it's wars when it's American billionaire masters tell us to.

Oh, but don't tell this to the Canadian legion. It kisses American billionaires as it once committed itself to the British Empire.

Catching up

 I have been suffering computer grief for some days now. So I'm hurrying now to deal with the crisis that our commercial news media have less interest in. This is short. But, oh, this is dangerous.

There is one hell of a dangerous situtation that is so far confined to western Canada.

But our commercial news media have, for the most part, touched lightly on it.   My Toronto paper (also sold here in Ottawa) didn't even bother with it. And P.M. Trudeau has shown little interest in it.

The centre of this story is a village in B.C. which has been suffering the worst of it.

Hundreds have died in B.C. And it's likely that a lot more will die. It's been hit by the worst heat wave ever known on this planet. And it's a huge disaster. So far, the heat has also burned the village as it's people fled. Just wait until it's your turn.

Scientists knew it was coming. They've known it and warned us for at least 20 years. The oil industry knew it was coming. And it didn't give a damn. It's come to other parts of the world, too. Among those other parts is the U.S.

They oil barons knew. And what the oil barons did was to make it worse in order to keep up their profits.

Will prime minister Trudeau take action?  Dream on.

The oil barons knew it was coming. The cause of it was the oil smoke of this earth which floats up to the clouds, then drifts down to poison our breathing. They know it.

And we all pay the price for their greed.

Understand this. The drifting down of oil smoke grows quickly and has the power to kill all life on this planet. And we've done nothing about that for years even though the oil bosses knew all about it.

You vote Liberal or Conservative? Then you're a damn fool. The whole world has been at war for all the years since 1949. And we're largely called on by the most vicious murderers of our time to fight the wars of the most murderous and greedy nation in the whole world - the U.S.

Unless we act, soon, we are heading into the final disaster.
