Yes. China is wrong in it's behaviour. No, western threats are going to be of no use. China has had well over two centuries of western killing and plundering.It's not going to accept more of it. Worse,
this puts us on the path to the most horrible war in history, horrible in the weaponry, horrible in the loss of life. And it's not likely the U.S. - or anybody else - would win anything by it.
(And for war cheerleaders, I point out that the U.S. has been almost constantly at war - and mass murder - and plunder - going back to when the pilgrims landed.)
In 1945, we had the chance to establish a world wihout war. We didn't do it. Instead, the west plunged into war in China by supporting the corrupt and murderous and champion drug dealer Chiang Kai-Shek.
Sorry. I'm sure war is glorious. But this planet can't afford it any more. As well, we have staggering problems to deal with in world starvation and disease and climate change that is very close to destroying us all.
We need to create the peace we didn't create in 1945. Yes. It will be difficult. and we probably have very little time to do it. (If you have any alternative to this, I would be delighted to hear about it).

Note - Canadian military and police played a prominent role in the destruction of democacy in Haiti. We did it to kiss the asses of American billionaires. And this raises a question. The Canadian Legion has shown no interest in. It sees all wars Canadians take part in as glorious.
In fact, Canada has routinely sent troops to kill at the wish of billionaires. If The Canadian Legion is to support our military - and so it should - when is going to stop the cheerleading for Canadians killing and being killed in wars that are simply wrong. (Think Boer War, Korea, bombing of Libya, killing of Afghans, training killers in Syria, destroying democracy in Haiti--- What the hell does all of that do to defend Canada? The Legion should be there to help the soldiers, not to be cheer leading killers for billionaires.
Sometimes what we do is wrong. And when the Legion becomes a cheerleader for the sort of thing, it isn't protecting our soldiers. It's sending them to kill and maybe die to please the most greedy people in our world.

Fifty-five vehicles
Two helicopters
Two ambulances
A fire truck
A crisis negotiation team in a motor home
A SWAT team
A backup SWAT team
A robot
The police then.....
Broke six windows
Ripped out the front door and and interior door
Pulled an office wall off the foundation
Used a flash bomb in the office
Ripped off the door to the laundry room
Tear gassed the laundry room
Tear gassed the kitchen
Tear gassed the master bathroom
Teargassed the kitchen
Teargassed the office bathroom
Teargassed the guest bedroom
Teargassed the sewing room
Destroyed more that ninety feet of fencing with a SWAT vehicle
Shattered a sliding glass door for robot entry
