Sure. Israel is the only country in the world with the right to steal a neighbouring countries land - and to kill those who object. That must be the same law that makes the U.S. the only country in the world with the right to murder millions all over the world - especially those people who live in countries with oil fields.
Let's get real. The U.S. today is like the British Empire of the past. As in the U.S., the British Empire murdered millions (over 400,000,000) so that wealthy British could plunder their countries.
Almost all wars are started by the greed of the wealthy and powerful. And today's greeds are rooted in capitalism. And soldiers are raised by telling them they are doing it for the Queen - or for America, God bless it.
Canada now fights American wars as it once fought British wars. (In the real world, Canada has not been attacked since the Americans did it in the 1860s.)
In 1904, Britain, in the face of American threats, refused to defend Canada. But it still conned Canada into fighting British wars.
And the beautiful thing about all this is our saintly capitalists don't have to pay for the wars they send the rest of us to die in. No. They don't pay income tax. So they just keep what should be our money, and hide it away with the rest of their stolen billions.
And where does this take us?
To the ultimate nuclear war which is very, very close. And unwinnable by either side

I know from many experiences that the CBC sometimes lies, And I know it lies in obedience to many pressure groups (Quebec separatism, Israeli propagandists, all sorts of professorial liars.) The BBC gave up even trying to be honest many years ago.It's even worse with private radio because it has very, very few reporters - usually only one.
But, for all the pressure from the top, the CBC still has honest journalists. And it's probably the best of the major news sources in North America.
