March 3: A slow day in the news.

Donald Trump, despite the opinon expressed by a doctor in the article above, (and despite the rise of coronavirus) has been dismissive of those who warn about the danger of it. In fact, he has gone so far as to say there is no crisis, and it's all just a panic being stored up the Democrats.

There is also much doubt about how the American privatization of health can deal with the crisis. As it is, Americans who are being treated for coronavirus are being billed for it. And that means that the poor can't afford it.

No wonder Trump thinks there's little coronavirus in the U.S. Most Americans can't afford the cost of a test. Tough luck. Think hard. What can one say about the evils and greed of American capitalism?

And what can one say about the wimpiness of those millions who support an economic system which is so brutal in its treatment of citizens?

At this point, the U.S. still shows no signs of protecting anybody except the rich.

Britain and the U.S. have a centuries old history of making life hell for vicitims of their wars and plundering. When those people try to flee the horror  we have created in, say, Latin America and Africa and the Middle East, countries like Britain, the U.S. , Italy and Greece either put them in foul and deadly camps - or simply push them back into the sea to drown.
