The oil industry has no intention of dealing with climate change - not ever. Think hard now. Virtually all of the world's scientists say that climate change will destroy us all. And there is plenty of evidence of this, destructive evidence, every year.

And our oil barons - none of whom have any significant scientific training and none of whom have produced any evidence for their claims -  completely ignore the experts.

Let's think a little bit about this. Billions are going to die. Indeed, we are already seeing the changes and the deaths. Are we stupid enough to accept this? Apparently so.

What can one call these people? Stupid? Immoral? Greedy? Vicious? Lying? And we are letting them do it.

And what are we for allowing them to do it? What are we for electing the Trumps, the Fords, the Cheneys. And what are they for accepting pay-offs from oil?

We can't change them. What we can change is our own gutlessness.

Can we deal with this peacefully? I don' t know.
We have a public that is listless, a listlessness made worse by our propaganda news media (which is almost all of it.) The wealthy provide endless streams of their money to keep us in a stupor. The Liberal and Conservative and Democrat and Republican parties are largely servants of the very wealthy. None of  those parties has done anything of significance.

The NDP and the Greens are at least honest. But neither of them has the fire that this crisis demands. And it is almost certain that the very wealthy would drop violence on them if they gained popularity. Of course they would. Our old parties are corrupt,  have been corrupt for centuries, and have obeyed the wealthy for centuries.)

The U.S. wealthy and their politicians want the final war of world conquest - now. And few, if any of us, would survive it.

And then there's climate change.

We are very, very short of time.
