Nov. 9: evening....what won't be in the TandT tomorrow....

A Nanos poll shows that 58% of Canadians support the Occupy movement - even as mayors call in the police to move them. Generally, the tactic of the TandT has generally been to ignore the movement. Luckily, it's easy to find out the truth. Just go to today's Yahoo! News.

The TandT has paid little attention to Iran - though much of the rest of the world is terrified at the prospect of an Israeli/US attack on Iran because it would toss the whole middle east and maybe the whole world into a war. Al we get are uninformative and biased accounts from Reuters.

That doesn't bother you? Well, think of it this way. If there is an attack on Iran, the price of gas at your favourite Irving station will go up. Way up.

The only  intelligent comment I have seen on this is a Nov. 9 editorial in The Guardian. It's worth a look. In contrast to North American newspapers, The Guardian tries to bring some sanity back to this idiocy of starting a war which would probably destroy the whole Middle East - and maybe a lot more.

And get ready for more Canadians coming home in body bags. The Toronto Sun of Nov. 9 says that Harper would almost certainly follow the US into such a war. But this won't be like Libya. Iran can shoot back.

Gee what a coincidence that Iran has oil.
